Musical Mentoring

For 11 years, the GOLD COAST Chamber Players have been mentoring talented, young students by including them in professional concerts. That’s 22 instrumentalists, a choir, a composer, and a painter! One student, pianist Chloe Pang from Orinda, is now in her second year at the Julliard School of Music in New York City. Here’s what Chloe has to say about her experience with Gold Coast:

“Having the opportunity to make my formal chamber music debut with professional, esteemed members of the Gold Coast Chamber Players for Mozart’s 250th Anniversary Gala was a great honor and an unforgettable experience at age 14. Gold Coast allowed me to voice my ideas, treated me as a colleague, which inspired me to play at my highest level. Their mentor-ship has since laid an invaluable foundation for all my collaborations.”
